Verify YouTube

YouTube verifies through Google, so you need to sign in with the account that actually owns the channel.

  1. Open Edit profile and find the YouTube row. You can type your handle, but it doesn’t matter much — we replace it with your real channel handle after verifying.
  2. Press Save handles, then Verify.
  3. Sign in with Google and allow read-only access. We only read your channel name and handle. We never post, and we never see your videos or analytics.

“No YouTube channel on this Google account” means you signed in with a Google account that has no channel attached. If you manage several, sign out of Google first, then start the verification again and pick the right one. Brand accounts need to be selected explicitly at the Google account chooser.
