This Privacy Policy explains how Get Sponsored LLC, doing business as SponsoredBy.io (“SponsoredBy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you access or use sponsoredby.io, our websites, public sponsorship walls, backing and payment flows, waitlists, dashboards, creator-network tools, campaign tools, analytics, communications, and related services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about website visitors, waitlist members, account users, creators, backers and sponsors who pay creators, brand representatives, agency representatives, talent managers, creator networks, campaign participants, and other people who interact with SponsoredBy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, social platforms, payment processors, advertising platforms, or other services that we do not control.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

A. Account and Contact Information

Name, email address, phone number, username, password, company name, job title, role, mailing address, country, time zone, and account settings.

B. Brand, Agency, and Business Information

Business name, website, industry, products, services, campaign goals, billing information, tax information, authorized users, brand materials, campaign briefs, logos, trademarks, and business communications.

C. Creator and Profile Information

Creator name, stage name, profile photo, biography, location, categories, niches, channels, handles, audience information, rates, availability, content examples, portfolio links, past sponsorships, preferences, and other profile information.

D. Social, Channel, and Campaign Data

Public posts, profile URLs, follower counts, subscriber counts, impressions, views, watch time, reach, engagement, audience demographics, click data, conversion data, deliverable status, campaign performance, connected-account metadata, and analytics made available through your connected accounts or submitted by you.

E. Payment and Transaction Information

Billing details, payout details, invoices, payment status, transaction history, tax forms, chargeback information, and records of amounts paid or owed. Payment card, bank, and payout information may be processed by third-party payment processors. Backings on creator walls are processed by Stripe directly on the creator’s own connected Stripe account; we receive and retain transaction metadata (such as the parties, amount, status, and timestamps) but do not store full payment-card numbers.

E-1. Public Wall Content

If you back a creator with public visibility, your chosen display name (or verified brand name), message, backing tier, and backing date are displayed publicly on that creator’s wall, may have a public plaque page and share image, and may be indexed by search engines or captured by third parties. Choose anonymous visibility at checkout to be counted without being named. Creator profiles — including display name, photo, banner, bio, tier offers, and verified handles — are likewise public.

F. Communications

Messages, support requests, feedback, survey responses, campaign negotiations, approvals, revisions, dispute information, and other communications with us or through the Services.

G. Device, Usage, and Technical Information

IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, access times, session activity, clicks, logs, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and similar technical information.

H. Compliance, Safety, and Verification Information

Identity-verification information, business-verification information, fraud-prevention signals, sanctions-screening results, moderation records, policy-enforcement records, and security logs.

I. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not intentionally require sensitive personal information for general use of the Services. However, depending on your use of the Services, we may process limited sensitive information such as account login credentials, payment-related verification information, tax identifiers, or precise information you voluntarily provide. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is required for the Services.

3. Sources of Personal Information

We may collect personal information from:

• you directly;
• your company, agency, manager, network, or team members;
• creators, brands, agencies, and other users;
• connected social platforms, analytics tools, advertising platforms, commerce tools, or APIs;
• payment processors, identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention providers, and compliance vendors;
• public sources, such as public social media profiles, websites, and creator channels;
• cookies, pixels, SDKs, logs, and similar technologies; and
• service providers and business partners.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
• create and manage accounts;
• administer waitlists, beta access, onboarding, and support;
• match brands, campaigns, creators, creator networks, and sponsorship opportunities;
• facilitate campaign briefs, approvals, deliverables, reporting, payments, and disputes;
• generate analytics, insights, recommendations, forecasts, and performance reports;
• verify identities, businesses, payments, connected accounts, and campaign participants;
• process payments, payouts, invoices, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks;
• communicate with you about the Services, campaigns, updates, security, support, and administrative matters;
• send marketing communications where permitted by law;
• personalize content, recommendations, and user experience;
• protect the security and integrity of the Services;
• detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, spam, abuse, policy violations, and unlawful activity;
• comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations;
• enforce our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, and other agreements; and
• conduct business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, financings, or asset sales.

Where required by law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Contract: to provide the Services and perform our agreements;
• Legitimate Interests: to operate, secure, improve, market, and protect the Services and our business;

We may disclose personal information to:

• Brands, agencies, creators, managers, and creator networks as needed to facilitate campaigns, matching, negotiations, approvals, reporting, and payments;
• Service providers that host data, process payments, provide analytics, customer support, communications, security, fraud prevention, identity verification, cloud infrastructure, and business operations;
• Payment processors and financial institutions to process payments, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, tax reporting, and compliance checks;
• Social platforms and connected services when you connect or use those services through SponsoredBy;
• Professional advisors such as lawyers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and consultants;
• Government, law enforcement, regulators, courts, or third parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security;
• Business transaction parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets; and
• Other parties with your consent or at your direction.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, secure accounts, measure performance, understand usage, improve features, and support marketing.

We use the following analytics providers, which set their own cookies and collect usage data (such as pages viewed, device and browser information, and approximate location) on our behalf:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website traffic and product analytics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• PostHog — product and web analytics, and error monitoring.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — measures ad performance and conversions and may be used to build advertising audiences. We may also send conversion events to Meta server-side (Conversions API), including a hashed (irreversible) version of your email for matching. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly without cookies.

If we use advertising or analytics cookies that require consent in your jurisdiction, we will provide appropriate controls.

8. Targeted Advertising, Sale, and Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money.

Depending on how we configure cookies, pixels, analytics, advertising tools, or data partnerships, some privacy laws may treat certain disclosures as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

SponsoredBy may process and store personal information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your location.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• correct inaccurate personal information;
• delete personal information;

• restrict or object to processing;

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of any disclosures that may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising, adjust your browser cookie controls or contact privacy@sponsoredby.io.

Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a limit-use right.

Where applicable, users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, and data portability.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. We may still send transactional, account, security, legal, and service-related messages.

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms, including social networks, payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, and cloud services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Key providers we rely on include Stripe (payments and identity verification), Cloudflare (hosting and database), Amazon SES (email), and Google Analytics, PostHog, and the Meta Pixel (analytics and advertising measurement).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice.
