Connect Stripe to get paid
Your wall works before you do this, but nobody can back you until payouts are connected. It takes about five minutes.
Verify a handle first. You need at least one verified social handle or domain before the Connect button appears. See Verify your handles.
- Open Payouts and find the Stripe Connect section.
- Press Connect Stripe account. This creates a standard Stripe account in your name — you own it, and you can log into it directly at any time.
- Fill in Stripe’s form. Stripe asks for your legal name, address, date of birth, your full Social Security number, and a bank account for payouts. That information goes to Stripe, not to us.
- Come back to Payouts. We re-check your status every time you open the page. When Charges and Payouts both read Enabled, you’re done.
If it says Stripe still needs a few things
We list exactly what’s outstanding. Press Finish Stripe setup to go back and complete it — you can leave and return as often as you need.
One thing catches almost everyone: the Management and ownership section in Stripe can still show as incomplete after the main form is done. Open it and confirm the person listed there.
Other states you might see
- Stripe is verifying your details — nothing for you to do. It usually clears in a few minutes.
- Stripe has paused this account — Stripe is reviewing it on their side. We show their stated reason. Contact Stripe support if it doesn’t resolve.
Payouts are United States only for now. Receiving money needs a U.S. Stripe account and bank. Your wall works everywhere — more countries are coming.
