For game developers

Your players want the game to exist. Let them help.

Indie games take years and pay out on launch day. A sponsorship wall lets the players who believe in your project fund the work in between.

Why it works
A game with named backers looks like a game worth the wishlist.

Indie development has a money gap: years of work, one payday at launch. But the people reading your devlogs want the game to exist now — and most have never been given a way to help beyond a wishlist. A wall is that way. Backers get a named plaque with a tier and a streak, you get steady support through the long middle of development, and every visitor sees a project with real people behind it.

Where your wall earns its keep

01

Devlogs & progress posts

The people reading your week-40 update are the ones who most want the game to ship.

02

Your store & project pages

A link where players already follow the game reaches them at peak excitement.

03

The game credits

Put your backers in the credits — the wall is already the list.

04

Discord & playtests

Your playtesters are your first backers. Pin the wall where they hang out.

Your backers

Who backs game developers

You get backed by the players who found the project early: devlog readers, playtesters, fans of your last game. A plaque gives them a stake in the story — their name, tier, and months of support, visible from first prototype to launch day. Monthly backers carry you through the long middle, and a wall with streaks on it shows every new visitor the game is really coming.

How SponsoredBy works

Money goes straight to you

One-time or monthly backings, paid directly into your own Stripe account — we never hold your money. Fees: 10% on Free, 5% on Pro, 3% on Max.

Everyone is verified

You verify a handle or domain to unlock payouts; sponsors giving larger amounts pass an identity check. The names on your wall are real people.

Support becomes plaques

Backers appear on your public wall with a tier, a name (or anonymous, their choice), and how long they’ve backed you.

Payouts currently require a U.S. Stripe account — more countries are coming. Your wall works everywhere.

Show the world who’s got your back.

Free to join. Your wall is live in minutes, and every backer after that is public credit.
