For companies & engineering teams

You already depend on it. Now you can fund it.

Your product ships on top of software somebody maintains in their spare time. Backing them costs less than an afternoon of engineering, and your name goes on the wall where every other user can see it.

Why it works
Funding the tools you ship is cheaper than the week you lose when they break.

Every engineering team has a list of dependencies nobody owns. They work until they do not, and then it is your outage, your migration, your sprint. Backing a maintainer is the cheapest insurance available on that risk — and unlike a donation, you get something for it. A named plaque on the project’s wall is public proof your company funds the ecosystem it profits from, which is exactly the kind of thing engineers notice about a place they might want to work.

What you get

Backing, and what comes back

01

Your name on the project

A plaque on the wall of a tool your team actually uses, visible to every other developer who lands there.

02

A tenure that grows

The plaque shows how long you have backed them. Twelve months of support reads very differently from a one-off.

03

A line item that makes sense

It is a recurring charge to a named project with a public receipt, not a donation nobody can point to.

04

A maintainer who sticks around

The most practical benefit: the thing you depend on keeps getting maintained.

The details

How it works for a team

Back once, or set up monthly support and cancel any time. Money goes straight to the creator’s own Stripe account — we never hold it — and the creator is the merchant of record, so your receipt comes from them.

  • Back once or monthly, from $5 up to $2,500 per backing
  • Backings over $1,000 are paid by bank transfer rather than card
  • Show your company name, or back quietly — it still counts toward their totals
  • Every creator verifies a handle or their own domain before they can take a cent
  • Cancel a monthly backing any time; your plaque and history stay on the wall
