The v2 beta is live

Six weeks of work shipped this morning, and you paid for it. Here is a two-minute walkthrough of what is new…

An update on your wall. The same post goes out by email.

Why it matters
Your backers gave you their support. This is how you keep them.

Recurring backers are the best thing on your wall, and the easiest to lose. People cancel when they stop feeling connected to the work, not when they run out of money. An update fixes that in five minutes: tell them what their money did, attach the video, hit send. It lands in their inbox and stays on your wall for everyone else to read — so the same post keeps your backers and shows new visitors that you actually show up.

How you use it

Setting it up

01

Write it

A title and a few paragraphs. Plain text, so it never looks broken in an inbox.

02

Attach a video if you have one

Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook link and it plays right in the update.

03

Send

Everyone backing you monthly gets it by email, with a link back to your wall.

04

It stays public

The update also posts to the Updates tab on your wall, where anyone can read it.

Specifics

What to know before you send

Updates go to people with an active monthly backing. One-time backers do not get emailed — they can still read every update on your wall. Take a second before you hit send: there is no unsend.
